Today I wore my new chambray pieces- the plaid shirt and blue mock blazer. It was an odd day, not cold nor warm and the jacket responded delightfully well. Coming from the South, I have tended to just go straight away with linen pieces, not even paying attention to the chambray ones. That was a mistake. These pieces seem more durable than linen normally, and even feel better. So, I am giving my plug for buying some chambray this late Spring and Summer seasons, if anyone is looking to buy. The chambray also seems to make the jump between jeans, chinos and even wool trousers fairly well. So, here is me wearing the two pieces with some khaki-washed denim and navy canvas sneakers.
